Irish Christian Friends of Israel is comprised of committed Christians, from various denominations around Ireland who love Israel and its peoples. We accept the Biblical truth that God gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people forever. There are 120 Scriptures (116 in the Old Testament and 4 in the New Testament – see our Scriptures Booklet) in the Bible which refer to the promised return of the Jewish people to Israel (Aliyah).
One of these is from Jeremiah 31: 8,10.
“See, I will bring them from the land of the North and gather them from the ends of the earth …He who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over His flock like a shepherd”
Israel means the Jewish people, both inside the nation and in the Diaspora throughout the world. It also means the modern Jewish nation of Israel, which includes both Jewish and Arab citizens, all precious to God.
Love Israel Rally Sunday 21st August Dublin
